2019 TOMLF Rescue Squadron of the Year: 58 RQS

It gives us great pleasure to announce the 58th RQS, Nellis Air Force Base as 2019 That Others May Live Foundation (TOMLF) Rescue Squadron of the Year winner!

Thank you to all the squadrons who submitted nominations. We received nomination packages from across the Total Force to include units representing HC-130, HH-60, GA, OSS and Test squadrons. The 58st RQS stood out for their outstanding mission efforts balanced with their exceptional efforts supporting base and community relations. Our congratulations to 58th Commander Lt Col Williams and the entire 58th RQS team – great job!

TOMLF has sponsored this award since 2012 using a variety of criteria to determine outstanding overall squadron accomplishments to include mission results, unit & individual accomplishments, and community relations impact. Our evaluation team was extremely impressed with how much the Total Rescue Force has accomplished in the past year. It is always amazing to read of all the great accomplishments of our USAF Rescue Warriors. We extend our heartfelt thanks for the great efforts and sacrifice of our rescue warriors and families.
